What is TutorlyAI?
TutorlyAI is an AI study assistant for research papers. Upload a PDF and get section breakdowns, key definitions, quizzes, flashcards, concept maps, and a tutor chat grounded in that document.
What kinds of papers work best?
TutorlyAI is built for research PDFs—journal articles, conference papers, and preprints. Clear text-based PDFs work best; heavily scanned image-only files may be less reliable.
Does the AI stay grounded in my document?
Yes. Tutor chat, quizzes, and definitions are generated from the paper you upload, so explanations stay tied to that source instead of generic web knowledge.
How is Student different from Pro?
Both Student and Pro unlock unlimited papers and the full set of study tools. The difference is allowance: Student includes $19 of AI credits and 100 MB of storage each month; Pro includes $49 of AI credits and 500 MB. You can buy extra credits on either plan. No .edu email is required.
Can I cancel or change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you need. Your existing study sessions stay available after a plan change.
Is my uploaded research private?
Your papers are used to power your study sessions and are not shared publicly. You can delete a paper and its generated materials from your workspace at any time.
Do I need an account to try it?
Yes—create a free account to upload your first papers. No credit card is required to start on the Free plan.
